Welcome! I’m Jennifer! Born and raised in Atlanta, transferred to Indiana and now East Saint Louis is home. I have a Bachelor of Arts from Purdue University with a concentration in painting and a minor in Art History. I work with soft pastels, colored pencils, and graphite but my primary medium is oil paint. Throughout my 8 years of raising small ones I tested my love for drawing onto skin and have been tattooing on and off for the past 3 years. My joy in life is knowing God through Jesus Christ. I am married with four kids. 

 

Psalms 19:1 says The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. The same way you look at a beautiful sunset and admire the Master Artist, the works of ‘our’ hands are meant to show off His glory. The goal of my work is to proclaim the work of His hand in the gift He gave me.

 

My work is inspired by a handful of things. Culture, healing, beauty and justice are some themes you’ll see when you look at my work. I have an attention to detail and color but I have a love for being able to capture a portrait.
